In this video play my favorite Marshall rig, the one that nails the most classic 60s, 70s and 80s tones - a 1977 Marshall JMP 50W Master Volume (2204) through a 1971 Marshall 1960A and a Marshall 1x12 model 1933 with a 1971 G12H30 55Hz. This is by far the rig that I use the most and the rig that comes closest to the Hendrix tone, the Zeppelin tone and the NWOBHM tone for instance. At 12:22 in the video I go through how I set up the rig, in terms of knob setting, mic positioning, panning and discuss my philosophy when it comes to this amp. Let me know what you think!
