I pack a 1971 Marshall Super Bass half stack with pillows and towels so the cabinet is filled to the bursting limit. This sounds completely amazing; tighter bass, more detailed top end and punchier dynamics. This drier tone can be turned up a lot more in any mix. It's truly an effective recording trick. I'm using a 2010 Gibson Les Paul Custom R7 today. Let's go! ;-)
