The still quite affordable 1956 Gibson Les Paul Jr GA-5 AMP sounds HUGE. Both recorded and in the room! Simon Karlsson and I are playing it using a 1954 Gibson Les Paul Jr and a 1963 Fender Stratocaster. The amp has an oval (!) Rola speaker and is rated for 4W. Buy it if you get the chance.
