Gibson VS Fender Comparison. The Gibson Grabber comes close to the tone of a Fender Precision Bass. Check out how close here. I'm playing both basses through a 2016 Pure Tone Amps Offset and a 1972 Marshall 4x15 (model1979A). The Grabber is from 1975 and the Precision (Cort!) is from the early 1990s.
