The Damnation Audio Ugly Twin pedal is a fuzz, boost, and octave all running in series. Each circuit can be used independently. The circuits are stacked in series (Octave into Boost into Fuzz) but you can turn them on and off at will. A collaboration with Brad Fry of Pissed Jeans. Sounds amazing on bass and guitar.
Fuzz - This is another classic vintage style circuit. It’s a great sounding hybrid fuzz with Silicon and Germanium transistors. It has the addition of a three band tonestack.
Boost - This is just a boost. It’s a nice discrete transistor boost. It’s great for adjusting the gain into the maxed out fuzz circuit or to sit in between the octave and fuzz circuits to mediate any disputes they may (and will) have.
Octave - This is your classic analog octave up circuit. It’s dirty and mean and a little messy in all the right places. This isn’t a Hendrix style sweet octave effect. It’s made to turn your dirtiest guitar fantasies up to 11.
