I play a basically cranked Marshall Superbass half stack with a model 1979A 4x15 Speaker cabinet using a Gibson Ripper Bass. It's got that detailed lower mid that makes the bass sound huge! (basically the same rig that Lemmy of Motörhead used with his Ric)
