The OnkartGromt Grombass V2 is an overdrive / distortion pedal for bass that ranges from slightly boosted grind to synthy distortion all while preserving the low end.

Controls:
Germanium: Lowest amount of distortion, a little dirty/warm in the background
LED: Gives more bass and less treble and most distortion
Silicon: A more trebled and hiss distortion
The “Muffler” switch is a filter that changes the mids and tops. This filter is dependent on the GEAR control.
“Turbo” is the gain on the input.
“Gear” is a tone control that controls the gain of the lower frequencies.
“Injection” is the output volume.
“Boost” is activated when the Boost toggle switch is pressed. There is also an input for an expression pedal to control the gain.

The Basses:
- Elrick Hybrid 4 with Bartolini pickups and preamp.
- MTD Michael Tobias Design 435 American maple burl top on poplar body, wenge neck and fretboard. Active Bartolini pickups and preamp.

The Amp:
Mesa Boogie Carbine M9 into a RoadReady 6x10 cab.

Speaker was mic'd with an AKG D112. There is no DI signal on this one.
NO eq, audio controls, or compression were added.
