Some things are meant only for the young, right? Probably, yes. However, I'm not going to deny myself a little fun with current instruments and tech as they all inspire me. So I've acquired myself one of the new-breed .strandberg* Bodens, the Original NX8, just to have a little fun with. And it's flippin' amazing. I've had 8-String guitars before but sadly had to let them go during the financial famine that was the Covid years, so I'm glad to be back on the horse. The Boden Original NX8 is a multi-scale headless guitar with a maple, quartersawn EndurNeck profile that is incredibly comfortable and stable. I'm still getting around the extra two strings and general ergonomics but I'm trying to embrace those things rather than be apprehensive about them. You've got to give it a go, right? So this is me slightly wobbly but getting to know this fine instrument over a jamtrackcentral backing track called 'Sixes & Sevens'. Coincidentally, I now want to try the .strandberg* sixes and sevens too...
