In this video I compare the onboard Microphone preamp of my sound interface to the Classic API 512C Microphone Preamp. I'm playing a 1965 Fender Showman amp through a 1968 Marshall 1982A miked by a Peluso 2247LE through either of these two preamps. the guitar is a 2008 Gibson Les Paul R9.
