My take:
The Smooth Driver is Burnt Audio Effects' take on the classic mid-pushed overdrive. I found it very pleasing, easy to play and operate, and just dead simple! If you want a great sounding, uncomplicated overdrive, this is a great bet. I actually found it more forgiving than other tube-screamer-type pedals... it just sort of sounded good no matter where I set it! Really affordable drive. And built in my home state! Check it out!
