The Shure SM7B is a favorite of studio engineers and producers who appreciate its silky low-end response. It is a dynamic microphone with a cardioid response pattern and a massive maximum SPL rating. You can close mic a trumpet bell or a cranked guitar cabinet with the SM7B.
