The 1959 Fender Bassman is arguably the most influential instrument amp ever. Although it's almost exclusively used for guitar, it was initially designed for bass, as the name implies ;-). Since it's open back, it didn't even occur to me to plug in a bass. I'm glad I finally did though because this is a Killer amp for Bass recording!! I'm playing it with a Precision bass and an EB3 in this video.
