I'm playing a Marshall Super Lead through a huge Marshall 4x15 speaker cabinet using a Gibson Les Paul. I'm using drop tuning 1 to 5 half steps down and the cab carries it beautifully!
Gear:
1972 Marshall 4X15 Model 1979A with the stock Celestion G15M50 T1757 Greenbacks.
1976 Marshall Super Lead with the DF100VH Forsberg Mod.
2008 Gibson Les Paul R9 with a Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro in the bridge.
Close mics: SM57 at the edge of the cone, Unidyne IV 548 dead center.
