The most classic combination of dynamic close mics is probably the Shure SM57 and the Sennheiser MD421. They complement each other in all ranges; lows, lower mids, mids and highs. We're gonna measure that today. I'm playing a 1971 Marshall JMP Super Lead through a full stack consisting of a 1973 1960A and a 1975 1960B. The guitar is an amazing 2021 Nordin Comet Krystin with a 2008 Gibson Burstbucker 2 in the bridge.
