This video clip demonstrates the new '59 AC tone of the 2013 British Dream amplifier from 3RD POWER.
The redefined '59 AC circuitry has been updated to deliver a higher level of touch-sensitivity, chime and growl than ever before. The EF86 preamp pentode tube delivers a creamy-rich distortion effect and an outstanding clean chime. The three position Brilliance switch is voiced perfectly for single coil pickups (position 1), humbucking pickups (position 2), and can be bypassed for clean setting with maximum low end response.
The British Dream also features our proprietary volume management technology, HybridMASTER, which allows players to separately control the perceived volume without thinning out your tone.

Equipment used: British Dream amplifier plugged into a SB112 cab loaded with a Celestion Alnico Gold, Protools with MBox Pro interface, a Shure SM57 and a Miktek PM10 close mic'd. The guitar is an original '66 Fender Telecaster which is plugged into a Visual Sound Tap Delay (set to quarter notes) which then feeds the amp's input. This was recorded live without any compression or EQ added. A touch of reverb was mixed in for ambience.
