The Locomotive from Crazy Tube Circuits is a real tube bass overdrive pedal featuring a 12AY7 tube. Controls are MEAN: dirt level CLEAN: clean level TONE: classic tone control GAIN: amount of overdrive. It does everything from warm tube saturation to grinding bass distortion. Sounds awesome on bass AND guitar.

- MTD Michael Tobias Design 435 American maple burl top on poplar body, wenge neck and fretboard. Active Bartolini pickups and preamp.
- USA Fender Jazz bass. 1962 Reissue with Bartolini CBJD-1 hum cancelling pickups.
- Elrick Hybrid 4 with Bartolini pickups and preamp. Passive mode.

The Amp:
Mesa Boogie Carbine M9 into a RoadReady 6x10 cab.

Speaker was mic'd with an AKG D112. There is no DI signal on this one.
NO eq, audio controls, or compression were added.
