In this video I play the the two most seminal 1980s metal amps through the same cab! One is a 1988 Mesa Boogie Mk3 (Blue) and the other is a Marshall JCM800 2205 split channel amp. The cab is a 1988-1990 Marshall 1961A with a G12T-75 and a G12-65. In the 1980s many bands started out on the Marshalls but ended up playing Mesa later on in the decade.
