Here's the Lizard's Mouth from Depth Pedals. Overdrive (especially low gain) is one of those effects I'm always chasing. This is definitely a contender. It's got a nice soft switch, two different tone circuits (hi and lo) and three different clipping/boost options. There's both symmetrical and asymmetrical clipping, along with a 2dB boost.... just in case :) It really is a nice low/med gain OD and it won't break the bank. Plus, you can crank everything and get some gnarly sounds out of it.

In this video I use a variety of instruments, pickups, effect combinations and recording techniques. I used my amp for all of the guitar parts because it's the right thing to do with an OD pedal.
