Here we have the OFF1, from Mastro Valvola (Italy). It’s a fuzz with multiple octaves and a really cool ladder filter. There’s a ton of different combos to play with, so if you like tinkering and experimenting… this might for you. It also sounds good with very little adjustments. You’ve got an upper octave as well as 1 and 2 lower octaves to play with. It gets super gnarly with that lower octave, so have fun! The filter cutoff can also be controller with either an expression pedal or control voltage. I used a variety of instruments in the video so hopefully people can hear what it sounds like in different settings. Also worth pointing out…. The lower octaves can be used without the fuzz circuit engaged, which is pretty neat. Soft touch switches can also be used momentarily. Check it out!
