Years ago I had tried to get other people involved in promoting smaller channels. The only one that was willing to help was Shane from #intheblues who is a stand up kind of guy. I could list the names of those that refused (rob chapman, the tone king, etc.) because they simply didn't like me or did not want to be associted with me.
The first episode of this idea I chose Sophie Lloyd. She only had about 8k subscribers at the time, and I remember after I did this video she thanked me and mentioned she was even considering quitting YouTube because it wasn't going anywhere for her.
I am not saying my promotion is responsible for her success, she 100% is. I am saying it is possible that without me doing the video I did, she may have chose to quit YouTube. It is hard to say. Either way, I am proud of her success as she is deserving of it.
Sophie Lloyd now has 1.18 million subscribers which is far more than I could ever have. Now she is the giant on the shoulders I stand.
