Red Hot Chili Peppers "The Greeting Song" guitar lesson. For the next Riff of the Day, we're using a Deluxe Compressor from CMAT Mods and the Rockett Pedals Chicken Soup OD. This syncopated riff locks in with the bass but uses a loose strumming style to keep it funky. There are two variations of the main riff, the first time uses more strums of the C chord where the second hangs on the A chord. The chorus uses major chords higher on the neck starting with the D string and it may demand a little more from your fingers. Enjoy your Riff of the Day guitar lesson.
