Nirvana "Mr. Moustache" guitar lesson. The next Riff of the Day uses the Boss DA-2 Adaptive Distortion (with a DiPinto Mach IV guitar) to add a touch of modern refinement to this nice raw riff from the Bleach album. Cobain was often a fan of Boss DS-1 pedals but the DA-2 takes that base tone to tighter places and offers a really organic feel with its Multi-Dimensional Processing. The main riff to Mr. Moustache is in standard tuning and uses just the low 2 strings. Make sure to add the right accent on the B and Bb notes in this riff to match the swing.
