Tony Mckenzie plays Metropolis, is this great playing? It's an instrumental guitar rock track I wrote in 2007 for the Eniac Album released by Bigdan Records (bigdanrecords.com) and is an instrumental rock track written on Ibanez, Gibson and Fender guitars (but played here on an Ibanez RG550LTD with custom pickups). If I remember correctly I used my JEM 7VWH which is the Japanese model.
I used a Marshall TSL100 amp and while some people would say they are not good amps check this sound out - it really IS awesome. Actually, this is one of my favorite tracks from Eniac, along with Lightpipe AI which I recorded at the time in one take - that one even today I think is an awesome track. This track makes me realize that when I play the finished track is often much better than what I had in mind - funny really because when I record I have a good idea of exactly what I'm going to play, then it comes out a little different.
