The dream of the ‘80s is alive in DIG, the latest pedal from DSP legends Strymon. The Dig is Strymon’s homage to digital delay, from the ‘80s to present day. Three distinct delay modes govern the Dig, from early-‘80s percussive delays resulting from the Delta Modulation conversion technique to the warmer mid 80's 12-Bit PCM delays all the way to modern ultra-high-fidelity digital goodness. The Dig features dual delay architecture with a range up to 1.6s and 3 choices of stereo operation: series, parallel or ping pong. The dedicated Time 2 control makes it easy to create rhythmic patterns that stay in time with the original delay using subdivisions or you can dig deeper with the secondary function and have 2 independent delay times. Strymon also gives you a modulation switch, which adds as much modulation as anyone would want, along with tap tempo, a favorite preset option or expression pedal control over any external parameter. Of course, it wouldn't be a Strymon effect without advanced features like the circular repeats mode that keep the repeats going cleanly and infinitively while holding the tap switch. Secondary functions give you instant access to delay 2 repeats, delay filtering and subdivisions along with the choice to set delay 2 in Sync or in Free Mode. The Dig is engineered and built in the USA with the same now-legendary build quality that players have come to associate with Strymon
