This final TWELTH video shows simply how I set up the guitar and I explain how the methods I used were successful for the entire guitar completion.
Overall the setup was not difficult on this guitar. It helped by using parts from a trusted supplier - Warmoth. The body and neck are both made to Fenders exacting authorized specifications and that made things simple to build and simple to set up.
Then at last I actually got to play the guitar through a Marshall 1959HW head and WAZA attenuator - and what a sound. I also used a Mesa Boogie Road King II also using microphones to the desk. What you hear is exactly what I recorded.
There is also a 'mystery amp' used in the 'track 1' section and I would love you guys to tell me what it is I used? Think of it like a sort of contest to see how many guys do tell which amp it was and who gets that right. I can't wait for your answers :)
In this Part 12 I end the series by setting up the guitar and then example playing it in real time. Check for yourself whether the mid control I have included in this design makes this guitar particularly great or not!
After my networking problem (lasted weeks) finally I have stability throughout the studio and home and even my main server is behaving :)
This video series has been completely funded by me, written and developed from scratch also and is not sponsored in any way. I purchased everything for the guitar. I trust that this series of videos inspires you too to have a go at creating a guitar yourself.
I have spent considerable time creating these video series at my expense:
