Jimi Hendrix, "Manic Depression" guitar lesson. Today we're using the MXR Classic 108 Fuzz for a vintage fuzz face tone. This riff starts with a few curve balls, a tuning half a step down and a 3/4 time signature. Setting the MXR Classic 108 Fuzz to near maximum and cleaning up with the guitar's volume allows you to gracefully morph from a heavy intro to a cleaner verse and back into the sustaining solo.
