This Guitar Lesson is based on a Barry Galbraith Lick that was shown in the January 2014 issue of Guitar Techniques magazine. As we stated in the video … do yourself a favor and get a subscription to this fantastic magazine … every month is a new learning experience!

With this Lesson we hope we make it a little easier to see how some of these complex sounding Jazz Licks really aren't all that complex. It's just a matter of understanding what is going on (usually targeting chord tones) and just breaking it down till it clicks. Also notice, this is not a fast Lick with a ton of technique required … but it still sounds awesome!
