The Explorer is a re-launch of Spaceman’s first expedition into phase shifter territory and includes everything from the Deluxe model plus more in a smaller, smarter form factor. This analog 6 stage phaser uses an optical circuit which is known for a much wider and cleaner sweep. Thanks to the Explorer’s 6 selectable waveforms and now 6 additional shapes including arpeggiated waves, you can dial in everything from classic to cosmic! The wet/dry mix allows both subtle phaser usage into the world of vibrato while the Range controls how far the oscillation dives into lower frequencies, making it possible to just affect higher tones for subtle pulses in addition to extreme sweeps. Plus, every setting can be enhanced or mellowed out with the Resonance, which controls the feedback.
The expression pedal controls the rate in all modes except in manual which gives you the ability to freeze the LFO or move the waves back and forth with your moon boots.
Like all Spaceman effects, the new Explorer is hand-built in Portland, OR with high quality components and ready for travel.
