The Fuzzrocious CROAK is an expressive, double filter fuzz that brings out gurgling, fuzz filtered tones to any instrument. At the input of CROAK is a thick and high gain fuzz (Pre) that blasts into an analog envelope filter, adjusted by Filter 2. You can either use your guitar volume or plug in an expression pedal to control the fuzz amount, thus giving you more control of the envelope’s behavior as well as wah effects. To make CROAK even more ribbiting, a switchable Filter 1 sits between the fuzz and the envelope filter, to further alter the EQ and embellish the throaty, synth-like tones coming from this unique circuit. Last but not least, a momentary switch on the left instantly morphs the frequency range of the envelope filter, providing another level of expressiveness and slimy filter sweeps.
