The Blood Donor pedal from Catalinbread is a re-tuned version of the versatile fuzz/distortion known as the Katzenkönig. Everything you loved about this hybrid of a MKII Tone Bender and a Rat is retained but with circuit tweaks to improve the signal to noise ratio and a careful selection of transistors to widen the input sensitivity and overall saturation. The controls: Filter, Gain, Volume, Input have been renamed to: Please, Give, Your, Blood and here’s why - During the coronavirus pandemic, blood drives across America have had to cancel, despite the constant need for blood in the banks, not just for surgeries but anyone with ongoing medical issues. To help spread the word, Catalinbread has come up with this special edition pedal and is giving 100% of their Blood Donor pedal profits to the Red Cross.
