Harmonic Tremolo is a unique type of trem once only found in scarce amps such as the Fender Brownface amps of the early 60s. They create their pulse by using high and low pass filters that modulate out of phase with each other, resulting in a hypnotic type of tremolo that straddles the line between trem, vibe and phaser. Thanks to a collaboration between Jam Pedals and Dan and Mick from That Pedal Show, the Harmonious Monk delivers both vibey Harmonic trem and classic tremolo in an all analog pedal, with extra features that Dan & Mick felt necessary for today’s players looking for maximum versatility...and well, Because Tone® really! Harmonic and Classic Amplitude modulation have a huge Speed and Depth range thanks to Jam’s commonly employed +/- Depth range. The speed is also divided into two ranges via the left speed footswitch, which actually keeps you in time by doubling or halving the selected speed. What sets this Harmonic trem from others is the addition of a wet/dry Mix control, which allows finer tweaking of this effects intensity by adding a dry unaffected signal back in. To top it off, Dan & Mick wanted this pedal to be compatible with most rigs and by diving into the back panel, you can set and forget Bass, Mids, and Treble trimpots to match perfectly with your amp and other pedals. Like all Jam pedals, this artistic creation is handmade in Greece and is 100% analog, using high quality componentry.
