This video explores using the EP-3 expression pedal to create unique stereo modulation of Matriarch’s filter section.

Matriarch’s semi-modularity allows for extended techniques when it comes to controlling parameters via the EP-3. Using a combination of Matriarch’s expression pedal input, mults, and reversible attenuators, we can achieve macro control schemes, meaning the EP-3 can control multiple parameters at once and effect each parameter with differing amounts and polarities. This macro style of control offers interesting and dramatic ways of morphing your patch, allowing for specialized control during performance or recording when using Matriarch.
