The High-Rise came by request of master luthier, Saul Koll, who was looking for a straightforward overdrive and clean boost that can cut through his very loud band - the Lovesores. With some assistance from local talent all over Portland, including circuit designer Jack Deville, the High-Rise was born. With just two controls Steel and Concrete, the aptly named volume and gain can be the foundation of your guitar tone. Everything from clean boost to super saturation can be achieved, while staying very dynamic and responsive to your guitars volume and tone controls. This Duo Drive is wired for true bypass and will accept power up to 18V DC for even more headroom. Like Koll Guitars, the High-Rise is a custom design from the graphics to the cast knobs and is hand-built in Portland, Oregon.
