The Delay Llama Xtreme is, like the name implies, a prime example of Jam’s desire to push the boundaries of previous analog delay designs. Armed with 3 BBDs, this powerful delay has a range of 800ms with tap tempo and 3 subdivisions, CV or Exp inputs for DT, remote Tap and Preset changes for the 4 onboard presets. Where things really get creative are with the 4 Xtreme modes. These modes alter the delay trails, giving you a wide range of warm analog modulation, crinkly tape age effects, random time fluctuations and pitch shifting by quickly morphing the delay by precise intervals and in various patterns. The functionality is very simple thanks to the black Alt button which changes the function of the Repeat and Level controls, based on the mode selected. You can save the presets with or without Xtreme modes selected but the Delay Llama will remember the settings in case you feel like getting….extreme!
