Martin has introduced the D-28 Modern Deluxe, their latest take on Martin Vintage.

Martin's new D-28 Modern Deluxe is a decidedly vintage-inspired guitar with some ultra-modern features. The Sitka Spruce Vintage Tone System Top delivers classic Martin sound, evoking a bygone period in acoustic guitar manufacturer. It also features a dovetail neck joint and natural protein glue construction for further vintage accurate appointments.

The Modern Deluxe D-28 features stunning features like European flamed maple binding, classy gold frets and gold open-gear tuners, and a unique 1930s style script logo in the headstock, inlaid in pearl.

So, where does it get the name Modern Deluxe? The D-28 Modern Deluxe features a lightweight titanium truss rod, Liquidmetal® bridge pins and a volume-boosting carbon fiber bridgeplate. It also has a slightly skewed neck shape, delivering comfort up and down the entire fretboard.
