This 8x6 Pro is an active rackmount unit that allows you to quickly choose your favorite rig at the flick of switch-- from a total of 8 amplifiers and 6 cabs. As the amp is chosen, all unused amps are muted with a load safely applied. The amp’s output is not only routed to a speaker but the guitar signal is sent to the input of the amp, so literally all you need to do is plug your guitar or pedalboard into the 8x6 Pro and select away. Your instrument signal is taken care of by a standard 9V DC power supply which is boosted internally to increase headroom and avoid degradation.

There are 9 different models of amp-speaker selector to fit your budget and improve your workflow in the studio. Basic models like the V1 offer one amp to 3 cabs (or vice versa), the 4x4 Deluxe incorporates an attenuator loop for your OX, TAE, Power Station or Two Notes while the 8x6 Pro does all that plus FX Loop routing.

Place any effect in the deLisle’s own FX loop and it will carry over to any amp with an FX loop patched into the 8 Send/Return loops. This feature alone saves a lot of time and energy since the alternative would require re-patching the pedal every time you swap amps.
Obviously when mixing various amps and cabs, ground loops and noise from interference can be an issue, which is why the deLisle switchers use transformer isolation, high quality components and relays, meticulous hand-wiring throughout and auto-mute functions for unused loops and amps. The 8x6 Pro can also handle amps up to 150W.
