The Platinum is an all analog overdrive/distortion that transports your amp to the late 80s where high gain is tight and powerful, plus you can use the powerful 3 band EQ to cut and boost frequencies that match with your rig. Just like a classic UK amp, Platinum has a Presence control which alters the negative feedback for changes to both upper frequencies and dynamics. Plus, a footswitchable Rhythm and Lead footswitch gives you anything from clean SRV to searing Slash tones that behave just like a cranked tube amp.
