Bixonic’s Axentrix A1 springboards off their groundbreaking Expandora pedal with an evolved circuit design that provides 4 unique modes, EQ and a new Accent knob to control dynamic expansion/compression! Each knob on this pedal has a secondary function when held: Accent also adjusts LED illumination across the whole pedal. 4 modes (Crunch, Overdrive, Distortion and Fuzz) are accessed by holding the Gain knob. Tone also opens up a 3-band EQ when held while Level switches between Guitar/Bass modes. As you can imagine, the broad range of tones make it hard to just stick with one setting, which is why there are 3 onboard memory slots that recall quickly and without signal dropout.
On the side of the Axentrix, you can choose True or Buffered bypass which has two benefits: it shares Accent and EQ functionality to the clean buffered signal and also engages a guitar or bass strobe-style tuner with visual feedback on each knob.
The Axentrix A1 is designed in Japan and accepts a 9V DC or battery in the easy access compartment. You can find out more at Bixonic-Sound.com
