I just wanted to post this video as hopefully a way of inspiring someone to make their own Stratocaster. This one was built in June 2012. It has many Fender parts and this body shown is Fender Licensed from Warmoth. Many parts are standard, but there will be some not usually found on a Strat (including a sort of PRS style tremolo from Wilkinson) so its worth watching what I do in the final video was made available sometime at the end of June 2012 assuming all the parts appear in time.
This guitar is a rock machine, unlike other Strats I have built. Pickups will be DP181 (Fast Track 1) in the middle, DP188 (Pro Track) in the Neck, and lastly DP182 (Fast Track 2) in the Bridge. There may well be some other switching options as I build this one. So check those other builds I did and then if you want a screamer check this video when it appears - this one will be shorter than those other videos I completed previously and Ill be referring to those other videos as reference points for this build.
It can get boring watching me drilling holes so those will be pre done by the time you get to the video thankfully. Visit http://www.tonymckenzie.com
Go out, buy the bits and lets get building - you won't regret it!
PLEASE SUBSCRIBE AND RING THE BELL. And if you like the video then thumbs up! Thanks - its always appreciated and I won't bombard you with reviews!
