Demo of the Keeley Electronics Aria Compressor Drive

My take:
This is a highly versatile, tweakable dual footswitch pedal from Keeley. I would say it's best for mid to higher-gain sounds... even on the lower gain setting I found it to be pretty saturated / gain-y. My favorite gain setting was to keep the gain around 9 o clock on the lower gain setting, and push the volume almost to max. This gave me a nice mid-pushed, saturated drive that would work great for sustained lead tones. The higher gain setting pushed less mids, and more top end. And then there's the compressor! Long renowned for their classic 2-knob compressor, Keeley have made several improvements over the years and now offer the compressor plus with a tone control, blend control, and humbucker / single coil switch. I liked using the compressor AFTER the drive as a boost, with just a HAIR of compression added in. Really fun box. Check it out!
