Demo of the Mojo Hand FX 1979 Fuzz

My take:
The 1979 is a vintage-style high gain fuzz, with radically drastic tone-shaping possibilities. The controls are very sensitive to what guitar you're playing, which pickup you're on, what amp you're going into, where your volume control is... I think the best use would be to spend some quality time with it with your own setup, to find that perfect sweet spot. The tone bypass circuit bypasses the tone stack, and to my ears pushes a ton of midrange and sounds WAY different than the normal side. My favorite thing to do with this pedal was to roll my volume down, go to the neck pickup, and play very lightly with a bunch of reverb and delay – this made for a super warm, fuzzy, winter-y, ambient vibe. Check one out for yourself!
