Demo of the Magnetic Effects Zola Boost

My take:
The Zola is a high-headroom, powerful boost. It upscales the standard 9v input voltage to 30 volts (!), giving the Zola incredible internal headroom as well as huge amounts of output. Using it with my Jackson Newcastle 18, I found the aggressive output to be really fun and treble-y and hairy sounding. I could almost pull a convincing Jazzmaster-type tone from my dark Modern Player Starcaster. This type of pedal is really useful especially for layering when recording. A keeper! :-) Check it out for yourself if you get a chance.
