Short demo of the v2.0 Firmware for the DMC-6 and DMC-6L pedals. This firmware is available factory-installed on all new DMC-6 / 6L pedals or as a free download from our website.
To connect your devices, run a MIDI cable from the DMC-6 MIDI out to the Timeline or Mobius MIDI in, then from that device's MIDI out to the next device's MIDI in. The Line 6 M5 or M9 don't have a MIDI thru, so they need to be the last device in the chain. If you're using an Eventide pedal such as the Timefactor or Space, they can be anywhere in the MIDI chain.
Set your Timeline to MIDICH 1, MIDITH ON, LPEXIT PLAY, BYPASS BUFBYP.
Mobius - MIDICH 2, MIDITH ON
M5 / M9 / others, MIDI Channel 3. If you are using an Eventide pedal you can map CC1 to expression, and CC64 to tap tempo.
The DMC-6 can scroll presets, engage patches simultaneously on all connected devices, sync tap tempo, and send expression to all at once. It also has a full looper control mode for the Strymon Timeline.
