Christian from Elektron showed us the new Digitakt 2. The updated model has undergone a significant internal overhaul compared to its predecessor, including an upgraded CPU and increased RAM.

Although it retains the classic Digitakt appearance, the enhancements are primarily under the hood, providing 16 stereo tracks instead of the original 8 mono. With extended memory capacity, the Digitakt 2 also features expanded modulation options and a newly consolidated FX page which allows for future additions. Users will benefit from features like an additional LFO and effects such as sample and bit rate reduction, and chorus.

Also on display was the Analog Heat Plus FX, a versatile analog stereo processor. It complements the Digitakt 2 by offering analog distortion and modulation possibilities, aiding dynamic performance through its real-time effects capabilities.
